The LLF Accelerator is a programme dedicated to empowering and propelling the growth of leatherwork entrepreneurs. It will be a comprehensive platform to foster innovation, business development, and industry expertise. Through the programme, emerging leather brands will access resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
The curriculum will be tailored to cover crucial aspects of the industry, including product design, manufacturing, branding, marketing, and e-commerce strategies. It will also feature guidance and mentorship from industry experts. Through strategic partnerships and collaborations, the programme will also facilitate access to funding opportunities, marketplaces, and distribution channels.
Participants will develop a comprehensive business growth plan that incorporates the lessons learned throughout the accelerator programme. This plan will serve as a roadmap for scaling their leather business in a sustainable and successful manner. A business support fund of up to N1,000,000 will be awarded to each of the top 3 performing businesses.
The top 6 businesses will be selected to exhibit for free at the Lagos Leather Fair on the 28th and 29th of June 2025. These brands will also be given an opportunity to pitch their ideas to investors at the Fair, with a chance of receiving equity-free grant funding.
