The 8th edition of Lagos Leather Fair (LLF2025) was held under the theme “Designing for Tomorrow.” This year’s Fair was a call to action and an invitation to rethink our commitment and take deliberate steps steps in shaping the future - because tomorrow’s leather industry will not build itself. LLF2025 was more than just aesthetics; it was about proffering solutions. From the runway shows that brought leather fashion to life, to the carefully curated exhibitions featuring designers and brands from across Nigeria and Africa, LLF2025 showcased the diversity, craftsmanship, and potential of the African leather industry. The conversations and workshops provided rich insights into critical industry topics, such as cross-border payments, product pricing, digital tools, and how to position African brands for global growth.

The Maker’s Bench was a highlight at the fair, where visitors created simple leather pieces by themselves under the supervision of skilled experts. The LLF Accelerator program, in partnership with Wema Bank, further empowered emerging entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge to scale their businesses sustainably. /n Beyond the showcases and discussions, the Fair created powerful moments of networking, community, and recognition - strengthening connections between creatives, buyers, investors, and industry stakeholders.
